The Association of Walking Football Australia held it’s first Walking Football State Festival in partnership with Healthway, promoting the LiveLighter message. Over two-days (23rd and 24th October 2021 at Fox Football Fives) close to 20 teams [some 150 players] took part in the State-wide competitions graded in Men’s 50+ and 60+ and Women’s 45+ competitions. The motto of the day was of course, LiveLighter and the overriding attitude was one of respect – respect for the referees, respect for each other and respect for the game itself..
